A flying club based at Fife Airport (EGPJ), Glenrothes
Edinburgh and Fife Aero Club (EFAC) was formed in 1984 under the original name of Fife Aero Club, and latterly Fife Flying Club. EFAC is based at Fife Airport (EGPJ), an unlicensed airfield near Glenrothes, which is ideally positioned for quick and easy access to some of the most attractive scenery in the UK, much of which is uncontrolled airspace.
The club has over 100 active members and a busy calendar of events that caters for the diverse interests of its members.
There’s always something going on around the airfield and we particularly welcome visiting pilots who wish to either drop in for a quick visit, or stay for a few days and enjoy a short holiday in Fife.
The meet-up on Saturday 22nd February will include a talk from Derek Pake covering the annual Dawn to Dusk competition. A chance to sit down over a coffee with others. It’s good for our mental health, networking, and sharing our interest in all things aviation. If the weather is good then we can buddy up […]
